Goes great with 6 + 1 Writing Traits/5(48). The units are an excellent resource and I highly recommend them- especially if you are new to Writing Workshop. How long does Writing Workshop take in the schedule. Typically the entire workshop lasts from minutes and ideally is taught 5 days per week.

The book I recently reviewed, When Writers Drive the Workshop, by Brian Kissel was an excellent read and would help teachers rethink many parts of the workshop from a student-centered perspective.
